I am filing an official
complaint on
1. Illegal Custody & Detention
2. Criminal
Act of Charging False Case by Kozhikode Medical College Sub Inspector
Habeebulla A.,
3. Multiple Human Rights Violation for Questioning the Foul Words (Theri) used by Kozhikode
Medical College SI Habeebulla A & another
policeman.
The above
mentioned Three acts are Grave Criminal Acts & I
request:
1. Immediate Suspension without salary of above officers till the final verdict
2. Thorough and
Impartial Investigation by an Independent Agency other than police department
[or initiation of Independent Agency as/if it doesn’t exist]
3. Dismissal
of Kozhikode Medical College SI Habeebulla A & another policeman from service
4. Initiation
of Criminal Proceedings leading to Severe Punishment
Date of the incident: 11
March 2018 & 12March 2018
Incident: 11 March 2018 Evening- I was
trying to obtain a lift in Bypass of Kozhikode, when a Police person prevented
us saying that the CM will be passing after half an hour. When we questioned
the logic of this as: 1. We are not creating any obstruction
2. As other vehicles are plying as usual, the logic behind preventing us from
trying one of them etc.; he used Foul language (Theri – “Thendi”)
on another person near me. When I strongly objected to this and his use of
foul language, he went and brought Kozhikode
Medical College SI Habeebulla A.
Habeebulla came shouting at us, without asking us our
version. When I informed him that the policeman used
foul words, he told us that Police will use whatever words they like &
who are us to question that. When I objected to his illegal & unlawful
stand, he shouted even more. He told us that under no circumstance he will allow us to hail a vehicle from there. When I asked the
reason he shouted at top of his & called Foul language (Theri – “Naari”).
He
then told us to wait in the Police Jeep. It was more than 15-20 minutes that CM
passed us.
After
10 mins Habeebulla came
& the started to take us in the police jeep. When I objected to illegal custody he made the driver stop the jeep & came running
to the back again using Foul language (Theri – “Naari”).
Major Multiple Human Rights Violation &
Criminal Acts by Kozhikode Medical
College Sub Inspector Habeebulla A. &
other Policemen:
1.
In Kozhikode Police Station SI Habeebulla A & other Policemen Tortured
us Mentally for many hours in the night
2.
SI Habeebulla
refused to buy us Food despite Repeated Requests & instructed other
Policemen Not to buy us Food
3.
Many times during night SI
Habeebulla & other Policemen surrounded us & tortured
us for hours
4.
SI Habeebulla
forcefully opened my bag & took illegal custody of new packet of tooth
powder, my Mobile Phones & many Pen Drives of my research. He refused to
return it or give receipt for those
5.
Took False Case saying that we
tried to obstruct the duty of Police, while in reality I was questioning the
illegal act of 1. Preventing my Right to
Travel without any reason
2. Question
the use of Foul language by duty bound Police officers
6. Took False Case saying that I was drunk whereas I Do Not drink
Liquor at all & have even done dharna before
govt. Secretariat against the wrong liquor policy of the govt.
7. Tried to Influence the Doctor of Kozhikode Medical College to imply that
I have drunk liquor, for two hours.
On 12March 2018
8. Refused to produce us
before the Judge, despite repeated requests
9. Refused to buy us food.
10. After many protests they bought us rotten food, which we didn’t
eat.
11. Gave us food only at 1
pm
12. Purposefully Refused
to produce us before the Judge, despite repeated requests throughout the day
I request you to take strong action against Kozhikode Medical College Sub Inspector Habeebulla
A. & another policeman
for Grave Criminal Acts, Dismissal them from service,
Initiation of Criminal Proceedings leading to Severe Punishment etc.
